MAIN CONFERENCE DAY 2 – 20 October 2026, Tuesday

9:40 AM Keynote Panel: How do you manage the tension between centralised governance and the need for local market autonomy to build a regional operating model that is both consistent and genuinely fit for purpose across Asia?

•How do you decide which policies, standards and processes must be consistent across all markets — and which should be left to local teams to define and own?

• How do you build trust between regional leadership procurement and local market teams so that centralised governance is seen as an enabler rather than a barrier to getting things done?
• How do you design a regional operating model that is agile enough to adapt to the regulatory, cultural and supplier landscape of markets as different as Japan, India, Indonesia and Australia?
• How do you measure the performance of a regionalised procurement model — and how do you know when the balance between central control and local flexibility is actually working?

4:10 PM Fireside Chat: How do you design a contingent workforce governance model that keeps pace with Asia's rapidly shifting regulatory landscape to protect your organisation from compliance risk while maintaining programme agility and speed?

• How do you build a contingent workforce governance model that keeps up with Asia's constantly evolving worker classification laws, employer of record regulations and SOW compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions?

• How do you balance the need for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation with the speed and flexibility that your business demands from its contingent workforce programme?
• What role should procurement play in owning and driving contingent workforce governance — and how do you get buy-in from legal, HR and finance to make that happen?
• How do you future-proof your governance model so it can adapt quickly when regulations shift, without having to rebuild your programme from the ground up every time?
