Charlene Chen is Regional HR Director at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, where she works with the executive leadership committee on people and organisational strategy across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. She has spent much of her 20-year career helping leaders manage growth, restructuring and change across many markets, with experience at Toshiba, EDPR/Sunseap Group, Milestone Systems, Micron and StarHub. Her work covers organisational design, post-merger integration, leadership coaching, succession, performance and culture. At Milestone Systems, she led the Asia Pacific COVID-19 response to a zero-case outcome and received the company's 2021 Presidential Club Award. Outside her corporate role, Charlene spent 18 months in full-time volunteer service in the United States, training volunteers and teaching life skills to people from diverse cultures. She is particularly interested in building strong leadership benches, managing change without losing trust, and making people strategy work across cultures. Charlene brings a practical, people-first and commercially minded view to conversations about leadership and transformation.
