Ariel Francisco Faraon is a distinguished procurement and supply chain leader with extensive experience across healthcare, food manufacturing, diversified conglomerates, academe, and public sector organizations. In his director-level roles within the Gokongwei Group and Maxicare Group, he has led strategic initiatives in procurement governance, strategic sourcing, supplier management, responsible sourcing, analytics, capability building, and source-to-pay transformation. His work has helped elevate procurement from a transactional support function into a strategic business partner that delivers measurable enterprise value through cost optimization, stronger compliance, improved supplier performance, and sustainable operational improvements.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Ariel is also a part-time faculty member at the University of Santo Tomas and the Technological Institute of the Philippines, where he teaches Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Strategic Sourcing, Warehouse and Logistics Management, and Strategic Negotiation. Through his academic work, he helps prepare future business, logistics, and supply chain professionals by integrating industry-based cases, practical frameworks, and real-world decision-making into the classroom.
